Jackson BBQ & Smokehouse is where Butts County comes to eat when it means business. Pitmaster Donnie Earl has been tending the smoker for over 15 years, using locally sourced hickory wood and a dry rub recipe that's been in his family since his grandfather smoked whole hogs at church picnics. The pulled pork is fork-tender with just the right smoke ring, and the ribs fall clean off the bone. Sides include housemade Brunswick stew (a Georgia staple), collard greens, baked beans, and mac & cheese. Whole pigs available for special order for events and reunions.
